Breadths:
DISHES. Ebony pencil. This assignment allowed me to redeem myself from my previous silverware piece. I was careful to show shadows and where the light hit it.
LAUNDRY Prisma Colors. This assignment allowed me to play with different shades to create texture in a towel. The colors showed depth in shadows and light.
TOY. Prisma Colors and Black Pen. This assignment allowed me to mix two styles: realism and an outline. This creates an interesting composition since the styles contradict each other.
B-A-N-A-N-A. Prisma Colors. This assignment allowed me to add detail into a specific area of the banana.
BFF. Prisma Colors. This assignment allowed me to not only play with colors to show texture in the clothes but making the shoes unfinished adds a different effect on it.
DANGLE. Prisma Colors and Oil Pastels. This assignment allowed me to mix medias. At first I was uneasy but ended up loving the result.
SELFIE. Ebony Pencil. This assignment allowed me to expand my techniques using graphite because I had to add detail and made sure to make the mirror precise.
CONNECTED. Prisma Colors. This assignment allowed me to e creative in making a simple tree into something different.
MANDALA. Watercolor and Black Pen and Sharpie. This assignment allowed me to make the composition more interesting by adding smaller shapes to the mandala and larger shapes as the background.
MOM. Paint. This assignment allowed me to try print making for my first time. I learned that it takes a lot of patience and effort.
VIVID. Oil Pastels. This assignment allowed me to think outside the box and use different colors on the tree to make it stand out. I also learned new techniques using oil pastels.
